Yes they certainly do. I got this canvas bag at Scrapfest this year and when i got home I decided I would have some Glimmer Mist fun! I took some of my Fave colours of glimmer mist(really anything that glimmers, shines, sparkles is my fave!) and sprayed away. I was really happy with the end result.

Hi there,

Just a quick post today to show you my FAVOURITE scrap page I have ever done. This was one of the classes I took at Scrapfest this year. My husband and youngest daughter dressed up as Dorothy and the Scarecrow from the wizard of oz. So when i saw that Graphic 45 had a class with there wizard of oz line I picked up the class right away. The page turned out better than I could have imagined so it is framed at up in my living room now.

I thought i would dig back through projects i hadn't yet posted and i don't think i have posted this one. This is a card I made for my girlfriends 30th birthday in August. I used a bella image, MME paper and some bella bling, and of course some copic markers, but stay tuned for some prisma coloured images. After taking my favourite colouring persons (paula) class at Scrapfest. It may have only been a 45 minute class but I took in every word she said.

Well ladies I have a ton of projects to show you but first things first. I just got back from Scrapfest and the Mall of America. Jenn and I had an amazing time this year, classes were phenominal, absolutely phenominal. It was so tiring as usual and due to the fact I rocked out 14 classes this year but so worth it. To top it all off I got to meet and take a class with Paula and Linda of Stamping Bella fame. Yes the Bella was there this year and it was awesome. Meeting Paula and Linda was so cool, I stalk their blogs and their colouring is WOW. So here is a pic of us just after one of the classes at Archivers. The other pic is a Greeting farm image I coloured up with my copics a bit ago and made the card with one of the MME lines for my daughter for her 15th birthday. She was so excited this year as she finally got the Iphone she has been wanting but more exciting for her was the gift from my mom and dad. They fostered an elephant for her in Kenya. She has had a special love of elephants since she was very little and is so excited to be fostering Sities who is a 7 month old female. She will get monthly pictures and updates about her and also my parents also bought her a beautiful necklace of an elephant and had her elephants name engraved on it. The smile on her face warmed my heart.

Lily of the Valley Challenge Amongst Friends

Here is my Lily of the Valley card for the challenge. My girlfriends and I were talking last weekend on our Scrap with Friends day about how much we love our Lily stamps and that the release was coming up but could any of us say we had inked up our beloved stamps much. NOPE. So we decided to challenge ourselves to do a Lily card within 2 weeks.

I am very happy with how he turned out and can not wait for the release. Think I am going to challenge myself to get a few more Lilies inked up. lol

Thanks so much to Caroline for getting ahold of me today to let me know the Hanglar Stanglar stamps were up on Ebay. I was able to get the Attitude kit and am so excited to get them.

An Amazing Day with Great Friends

Today was one of our monthly scrap days where a bunch of us girls get together rent a hall and scrap for 12 hours and talk dirty! lol

I look so forward to these days and it was so nice that I am finally feeling well enough to attend one and for the WHOLE time as well.

Other than continuing to work on a couple of calendars that should have been completed two years ago I am worked on and finished another canvas.

I have to say I am SO thrilled with how this turned out. The canvas is a kit from Quick Quotes again. I took their class (they were new to scrapfest this year) and it was by far my favourite class out of all of them. The company and its kits and inks are definately worth a google!

My first baby photoshoot!

I have a card for you today and it is not a valentine card! Go figure...lol I have a birthday card I made this morning. It was coloured up during one of my many hospital stays lately, but I am still filling great so finally getting some put on actual cards.

I am back........

Scary i know. Don't know how much time i will dedicate to this puppy but i will try and if i can get my iphone on board. We will be shizzilin!!!!

If I can take pics with my iphone and then blog to there, waabammm!

Anyway, My life, well it is its usual shit show, shit and all.

I lost my best friend in November (really lost her before that but that story is one of my selfeshness and now being unable to forgive, with the help of one other in that!). I cry everyday for the loss of so much and my part in it. Dont' need to be KICKED by anyone else.

During the summer spent another month in hospital with more surgery and less answers other than I will now need two kidneys at some point.

Hit the hospital back again first week of December and spent Christmas and New Years in there. Awful place to be and i was to ill to be let out for the day for xmas dinner. Sad! Then got home for a few days in January and was sent back again. So i have been home for a few days now and am feeling pretty good and even back to my crafts and that says something. Not the same without my E. But I have a pretty good friend who is trying to let me just cry out the hard parts and to think another someone told me NEVER trust them, yet they are there, everyday in and out!.

My mom and dad what would i say if not to say something about their love, support, care, devotion and everything else above and beyond what a parent needs to be. It makes me cry just thinking about them.

My kids are pretty damn amazing too. Kourt gets worried easy, she has seen me sick since she was little poor kidd. But takes it like a trooper. My older teens are a force to be reckoned with we are really starting to get that big huge family with the girlfriends and boyfriends flocking around. Jamie has been great for Keirra and Sam is Steven's significant other.

We also have our police family who has sent baskets, covered shifts, Inspector Hay (not that he reads my blog) thanks for the consideration in the matter. We have a freezer full of food. This people is what belonging to a police family does for someone! Truly amazing! Thanks you

And last but most definately not least. My husband for without him and mom and dad, i probabley would have given up trying to get answers. Rob you are the most amazing man a woman could ask for (he is mine bunnies.....back off....inside cop joke their) you make me want to get better and be the wife I was and will be again but in the mean time you rock babe. I love you with all my heart.

I will put the kids xmas pic in here I wasnt' there diddn't take it but did edit it......that one is for you Michelle.

Here is what I did with my new Kraft'n Kimmie Stamp. I love her! and I love how she turned out on my snappy new copic tin, my other is brown so not really sure how I am gonna swing that one. Now copics certainly don't go nicely on here but it works and I used the no no stazon cause I did not think my copic ink would stay on the tin. So I had to be very careful not to go anywhere near the side.....clear as mudd????

Boy do I ever suck at keeping up with this thing. Well, I am back (for two weeks now) from Scrapfest and it was AMAZING. Have to say I enjoyed classes this year I think above all other years, what a great time. Friends, paper and food, what is better than that. The Tattered Angels class was absolutely WOW and I can't wait to incorperate it in to some of my classes. Here is a little card I did a couple of weeks ago.

I figured since photography is also one of my favourite things to do. Along with adding Geocaching to that since June (my husband and youngest daughter are just a little addicted! well really ALOT ADDICTED) So we were out today doing some caches out at the Terry Fox Lookout (we had a travel bug we wanted to throw in the TB hotel and send it on its way). We also did an earth cache and some bushwacking which i can ALWAYS do without. Considering no matter what the GPS leads us in THE HARDEST WAY POSSIBLE and we always see the EASY route after we find the cache. Go figure...it is a Miller thing Hope you enjoy the pics, they are SOOC (straight out of camera for non photo bugs) But that face doesn't need much touching up! lol

Hello Everyone,

So sorry I have been absent with posting the last little bit. I managed to break the monitor on my laptop....dumb...dumb...dumb. I am so mad at myself, my LCD screen is cracked and so I can't see anything. My world, ie/ all my pictures are on that. So I have to take it in and have everything transferred.

Anyway, to give you something to look at I found one of my favourite layouts from last year. This is also special to me because it is the only layout I have actually completed of my wedding (my bad..lol). I have been editing pictures for hours most nights and now I am stuck because of my stinking computer....grrrr.

Well I hope you enjoy the layout and hope to be back tomorrow with October's layout which I was lucky enough to save to my USB. We will be using Sepia pictures for this layout. I can't wait to show you what I have come up with. This Tiffany line from We R Memory Keepers is most definatley my FAVE for this year.

Hey Ladies,

I am in lovely Little Rock, AR. In a huge storm at the moment, the heat is unbearable, but we have had a great time. Anyway, I am just posting to clarify as some of my girls have told me I sound like a drunk and druggy when I posted my last post. I guess I just don't think anyone who doensn't know me would be looking at my little old blog. Anyway my husband is a DRE Officer, which for those unaware is a police officer that is trained as an expert in drug impairment while driving (among being a breath tech- alcohol and Level 4 Accident recronstructionist) that is me getting to brag a little about my man.lol. That is the conference we are attending I am not the drunk....my hubby is...ROFLMAO

Hi there ladies, as I told you after much.....ahhhhh...crazyness. This layout turned out amazing, I thought I had made a mistake by picking this Fancy pants line but in the end am I ever glad I did. Class schedule is not up yet so you are getting a Sneak Sneak peak. The schedule will be up on August 11th, so if you want in be sure you are on the ball that day...lol Remember my classes run at the LLS in Thunder Bay Dat's Scrapbooking. This layout is on dispaly at the store if you want to see it IRL. For awhile i thought I had lost it. I had a few meltdowns today after trying to get my design work done and the paper just wasn't quite right. If my paper isn't right that can throw me into a tizzy as the owner and dear friend of my LSS can surely attest to. So September's is all ready to go and as soon as I can get the ok, i will post it for you to see, October is almost there , and November still needs some work, but at least all of my papers are in order now. Jeesh. Anyway, I will try and find a card i have on here somewhere so at least you get to look at something.....Have a great day!

On a very bright note. Today was sign up day for classes being held at Scrapfest 2009 in Minniapolis in September. So we can't wait for our girls trip it is by far the most exciting trip for me every year. Don't tell my hubby or he will be dissappointed I am not exstatic to hop in a car in two weeks and DRIVE to Arkansas (from Thunder Bay I might add) for this years Impaired Driving Conference. Don't get me wrong I really enjoyed last years in Indy but the drive i could do without. roflmao (if he ever knew). But really gotta love him.

So the following cards are similar to Doraline, I had done up a few of the same layout and just changed a couple of things. I am not all that impressed with either of them but can love em all. So I used the same paper, same ribbon, Bella bling and baubles, copic, digital image from Instyle stamps and Cupcakeabella from Stamping Bella. Please let me know what you think.

Good afternoon Ladies,

Here is a card I finished last night, I am really happy with how it turned out which is a shock as I am never usually happy with my own stuff. lol I need to pull myself away from my cards and work on my classes for the fall....but i am having so much fun. For those of you that take my classes and for those of you that WILL be taking my class, I promise this year will be as fun and exciting as last year if not more! I have also decided to do some classes on Saturday's at DAT'S of course. Possibly some Copic classes but definatley some one page spread classes. I am loving the one page spread stuff I am seeing out in scrap land. Scrapfest is coming up in September so I am hoping to bring back tons of knowledge to add to my classes.

Anyway, on with the card. This is my new "fav" in the stamping world...Motivet stamps and this particular one is Doraline with Birthday Cake. This stamps are made in Canada which is GREAT. Ok, I have never done this before so I hope I am doing it right. I finally got my but kicked to do this when a few of my girlfriends jumped on the blog bandwagon (people have been asking forever for me to do one but I thought it would be to hard...it so isn't)anyway I am trying to beat Donna (She is the owner of our LSS Dat's Scrapbooking) . So I am now going to try and put one of my cards up...can I do it???
