Do tattered Angels Glimmer Mists Rock or what??

Yes they certainly do. I got this canvas bag at Scrapfest this year and when i got home I decided I would have some Glimmer Mist fun! I took some of my Fave colours of glimmer mist(really anything that glimmers, shines, sparkles is my fave!) and sprayed away. I was really happy with the end result.

Favourite Page Ever!

Hi there,

Just a quick post today to show you my FAVOURITE scrap page I have ever done. This was one of the classes I took at Scrapfest this year. My husband and youngest daughter dressed up as Dorothy and the Scarecrow from the wizard of oz. So when i saw that Graphic 45 had a class with there wizard of oz line I picked up the class right away. The page turned out better than I could have imagined so it is framed at up in my living room now.

How bout that 2 posts in the same week!!!

I thought i would dig back through projects i hadn't yet posted and i don't think i have posted this one. This is a card I made for my girlfriends 30th birthday in August. I used a bella image, MME paper and some bella bling, and of course some copic markers, but stay tuned for some prisma coloured images. After taking my favourite colouring persons (paula) class at Scrapfest. It may have only been a 45 minute class but I took in every word she said.

MOA Scrapfest.....

Well ladies I have a ton of projects to show you but first things first. I just got back from Scrapfest and the Mall of America. Jenn and I had an amazing time this year, classes were phenominal, absolutely phenominal. It was so tiring as usual and due to the fact I rocked out 14 classes this year but so worth it. To top it all off I got to meet and take a class with Paula and Linda of Stamping Bella fame. Yes the Bella was there this year and it was awesome. Meeting Paula and Linda was so cool, I stalk their blogs and their colouring is WOW. So here is a pic of us just after one of the classes at Archivers. The other pic is a Greeting farm image I coloured up with my copics a bit ago and made the card with one of the MME lines for my daughter for her 15th birthday. She was so excited this year as she finally got the Iphone she has been wanting but more exciting for her was the gift from my mom and dad. They fostered an elephant for her in Kenya. She has had a special love of elephants since she was very little and is so excited to be fostering Sities who is a 7 month old female. She will get monthly pictures and updates about her and also my parents also bought her a beautiful necklace of an elephant and had her elephants name engraved on it. The smile on her face warmed my heart.

EDIT:Ok i will add another card instead, since blogger isn't uploading my picks, so maybe for a project. This project is a recipe box I made for the most amazing special person in my life, my mom. I am the luckiest daughter in the world to have her for my mom, she is such a giving, compassionate, caring woman. Anyone who has the pleasure of having her in there lives is so much better for knowing her.

DATS Workshop October 22, 2011 Yippee.....

I will be teaching a card class at DATS on Saturday October 22, 2011. This class will be a Christmas Card class using one of the Fab Kraftin Kimmie stamps.

Kourtney's 9th Birthday Card

It is my youngest daughter Kourtney's 9th birthday today. It seems like yesterday she was born. hohum! I miss babies! Thank gawd a couple of my girlfriends are having babies so i can get my fix.

May 28th Card Class @ DATS

Hello there everyone,

Here is the card we will be doing in my card class on May 28th at 1pm at DATS scrapbooking in Thunder Bay.

This card uses new bo bunny Vicki B, bo bunny double dot, copic markers and how to use the popular border punches in a little different way, and how to add some 3d to your card.

A Baby Card for a Dear Friend

This is a card I did for a good friend who has just found out she is expecting. I ended up making a few of them as I love this Stamping Bella stamp and couldn't wait to use it. All of the sudden I have three people just finding out they are expecting. How fun.

A Pollycraft Card...yum yum

I loved making this one. This image is from Pollycraft and was made for a friend of my daughters. I was feeling alot better today so was able to get a few more cards made up. My specialist has finally agreed to send me out of town since all of my options here in little ole Tbay have been exhausted. Yahoo

Lily of the Valley Challenge Amongst Friends

Here is my Lily of the Valley card for the challenge. My girlfriends and I were talking last weekend on our Scrap with Friends day about how much we love our Lily stamps and that the release was coming up but could any of us say we had inked up our beloved stamps much. NOPE. So we decided to challenge ourselves to do a Lily card within 2 weeks.

I am very happy with how he turned out and can not wait for the release. Think I am going to challenge myself to get a few more Lilies inked up. lol

Cards out the wazoo!!

Wow ladies, I have been pumping out cards like crazy lately but most of them are for family and friends birthdays so I can't show you just yet but I do have a couple that i can show you. lol

Thank You Caroline.......

Thanks so much to Caroline for getting ahold of me today to let me know the Hanglar Stanglar stamps were up on Ebay. I was able to get the Attitude kit and am so excited to get them.

The card I am putting up is just one I have had hanging around since last week and I haven't had a chance to put up yet. I had coloured up a bunch of images while I was in the hospital so I am trying to make cards with them now.

An Amazing Day with Great Friends

Today was one of our monthly scrap days where a bunch of us girls get together rent a hall and scrap for 12 hours and talk dirty! lol

I look so forward to these days and it was so nice that I am finally feeling well enough to attend one and for the WHOLE time as well.

Other than continuing to work on a couple of calendars that should have been completed two years ago I am worked on and finished another canvas.

I have to say I am SO thrilled with how this turned out. The canvas is a kit from Quick Quotes again. I took their class (they were new to scrapfest this year) and it was by far my favourite class out of all of them. The company and its kits and inks are definately worth a google!

My first baby photoshoot!

I went on Monday to do my first newborn photoshoot. The subject was my sweet adorable, cute, cuddley nephew Devin who was born on the 12th. Everything done in the pictures i learned from my friend Michelle, I thank her so much for all she has taught me. Thanks so much Michelle you are the best!

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Hello peoples,

I have a card for you today and it is not a valentine card! Go figure...lol I have a birthday card I made this morning. It was coloured up during one of my many hospital stays lately, but I am still filling great so finally getting some put on actual cards.

The stamp is lulu from Stamping Bella, and the papers are imaginice, from ages ago.
